WPHA Summer Regulatory Conference, July 30-31, Sacramento
The Western Plant Health Association (WPHA)’s annual Summer Regulatory Conference is July 30-31 at the Sheraton Grand in Sacramento, Calif.
The focus of the conference will be pesticide product registration in California. It will include insight into the current work by the California Department of Pesticide Registration (DPR) which oversees pesticide registration and usage in the state.
Guest speakers will include: DPR Director Brian Leahy; CalEPA Deputy Secretary for Science and Health Gina Solomon; plus the regulatory staff responsible to review pesticide product applications and data evaluations in California.

DPR has approved nine continuing education hours in the laws and regulations category, and one hour in the ‘other’ category for this conference.
