WPHA annual meeting, Oct. 6-8, Dana Point
This year’s Western Plant Health Association (WPHA) conference runs October 6-8 at the Laguna Cliffs Marriott Resort & Spa in Dana Point, Calif.
Along with discussions on health care reform, managing the new dynamic in California politics and influencing the general public through social media, attendees will have plenty of recreational opportunities including a golf tournament, whale watching and a tour of San Juan Capistrano.
Keynote speaker for the Tuesday luncheon will be Cpt. Charlie Plumb, former Navy fighter pilot and POW.
An all-industry party and WPHA PAC silent auction will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Oct. 7, and the WPHA reception will be held the following evening from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. A printable brochure is available on the WPHA website.
Attendees will need to register with the Western Plant Health Association and make their own sleeping room reservations for the event. Hotel reservations can be made by calling (866) 637-3318 and asking for the Western Plant Health Association room block.
