DuPont™ Kocide® 3000 Fungicide now registered in California

DuPont™ Kocide® 3000 fungicide, a new, active ingredient formulation of one of the most effective and widely used fungicides/bactericides trusted by western vegetable producers, is now registered in California.

“Kocide® 3000 is more efficient and offers the same disease control as the previous formulation. Reducing the metallic copper results in less pesticide per acre per application,” says Bill Hume, DuPont Area Sales Manager.

“We also are excited about the fact Kocide® 3000 has been certified and listed by OMRI for organic production,” added Hume.

Kocide® 3000 delivers the superior performance that fruit, tree nut, vine and vegetable growers have come to demand from Kocide® 2000, but with even less wasted copper for more environmentally favorable disease control. For example, one pound of Kocide® 3000 delivers the same performance as 1.5 pounds of Kocide® 2000. Less copper per acre also reduces the impact on the environment.
