Last June, the Senate Environment and Public Works passed a bill called the Clean Water Restoration Act. Colin Woodall, vice president for government affairs at the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association, says the bill could bring unwarranted regulation to farm and ranch operations nationwide. Woodall discussed the pending legislation and other issues at the Cattle Industry winter meetings in San Antonio.
