Celery harvest is underway with the Eco Ag Harvester which cuts 14 rows at a time, and packs 3,000 to 4,000 boxes of celery per day. The track-based harvester was invented by John Berry of Eco Power Systems LLC, Ventura, Calif.
The Eco Ag Harvester automates much of the lifting required in older celery harvest systems. The new machine provides safer working conditions for employees.
Tne Eco Ag Harvester folds up to less than 10-feet wide and under 15-feet tall for transport on a low-bed trailer.
