UCCE Rice Production Workshop, July 25, Richvale
An in-depth workshop covering the principles and practices of rice production will be held July 25 at Lundberg Family Farms, 5311 Midway, Richvale, Calif.
Sponsored by the University of California Cooperative Extension, the California Rice Research Board, and Lundberg Family Farms, the event aims to help California rice producers maintain their competitive edge.
Topics of discussion will include: rice growth and development; land formation; water management; tillage, planting and stand establishment; variety selection; invertebrates; diseases; a cost study overview; fertility; and weeds.
Enrollment is limited to 75 people.
