UC Davis Dry Bean Field Production Meeting Slated for Thursday, August 16, 2007

The UC Davis Dry Bean Field Production Meeting is on Thursday, August 16, 2007, from 8:45 until 2:30. Guests will tour field plots east of the ANR Building near the intersection of Hopkins and Bee Biology Roads (accessible from Hutchison Road off Hwy. 113).

Researchers will offer results of several trials on yellow beans, lima beans, baby limas, heirloom beans, and blackeye and garbanzo yields. Results of studies on Lygus IPM for grain legumes and organic heirloom dry bean and summer cowpea covercrop variety trials will also be discussed. The meeting includes a barbecue lunch at noon.
