MapShots, Inc. and Trimble have announced a new integration that allows users of MapShots’ signature AgStudio software platform to read as-applied maps and production data from Trimble’s Connected Farm solution.
Previously, AgStudio software users could only read harvest data from the Connected Farm solution.
Now, subscriptions to AgStudio software can communicate with Trimble field devices and wirelessly transfer field data, as-applied maps and production data from planters, spreaders and sprayers, plus combines for harvest data....More

Cheminova Inc. has announced the new herbicide active ingredient pethoxamid which the company says will help growers manage herbicide-resistant weeds, including Palmer amaranth, waterhemp, and other important broadleaf and annual grass weeds.
Pethoxamid is a novel selective chloroacetamide. Classified as a Group 15 herbicide, pethoxamid inhibits the germination of target weeds. It can be applied pre-emergence or post-emergence.
