Salinas Valley Farm Show Oct. 3 at Salinas Community Center, Salinas, Calif.

"Last year’s show was very successful with more than 1,000 visitors," said Young Farmers member Don Ostini and show chairman. "We are looking for bigger and better in 2002."

"The strong support from Western Farm Press was a key element in last year’s show success, particularly in drawing farmers from not only other areas of California, but Arizona as well," said Ostini.

The show targets the central coast agricultural market from Watsonville to Oxnard. This represents a $6 billion agricultural market.

Along with the show exhibitors will be educational seminars and a CAPCA continuing education seminar.

Western Farm Press will publish the official Salinas Valley Farm Show program in its Sept. 21, 2002 edition. It will be mailed to 8,000 growers, pest control advisers and consultants in this key coastal vegetable production area. It also will be distributed at the show.
