Risk Management Workshop Feb. 19, Moreno Valley

AgriLogic Consulting, LLC will be hosting an educational workshop for local Hispanic, women, and new agricultural producers, in coordination with the USDA Risk Management Agency and the University of California Cooperative Extension, Riverside County on Feb. 19, 2013.

This risk management workshop will be held at the Riverside County Cooperative Extension office, located at 21150 Box Springs Road, Suite 202, Moreno Valley, Calif., 92557.  Risk management topics will include: decision support tools, specialty crop insurance, enterprise budget development, financial planning, record keeping, identification of risk bearing ability and tolerance, and Food Safety and Good Agricultural Practices program development (USDA-GAP).

The workshop is open to all types of agricultural producers with a special emphasis on Hispanic, women and beginning producers, as well as industry representatives and students pursuing a career in agriculture.  Sign-in will begin at 8 a.m. and the program will run from 8:30 a.m. -11:30 a.m.  There is no cost to attend.
