A six-member Korean trade delegation concluded its familiarization tour with a visit to a rice farm, where the new harvest was just getting underway.

Young-Gil Park, a rice wholesaler delegation member, said that he can now speak more knowledgeably to his customers about why U.S. rice is a good alternative to Korean domestic rice. The delegation’s members represent the top buyers of U.S. rice in this year’s table rice auctions.

The USA Rice Federation thanks those who hosted the delegation this week. The tour enhanced the participants’ understanding and appreciation of the industry’s efforts to produce a high-quality product for the delegates and their customers.
