It’s almost easy to take for granted. Year after year, trial after trial, data show that Viticure® fungicide offers effective, consistent and reliable powdery mildew control. But don’t mistake that consistency for complacency. Instead, depend on that reliability to defend against powdery mildew.
In fact, since 2007 research has overwhelmingly shown Viticure to be the top choice to help vineyards deal with the challenges caused by powdery mildew. Watch the video below for more details from the many trials that demonstrate Viticure’s effectiveness and consistency.
In short, cumulative results from years of trials throughout California show Viticure reduces mildew to an overall average of 18% vs. 36% for other brands. And when paired with a rotational partner, Viticure proves to be a leading performer against powdery mildew.
There are many control options from which to choose. Keep in mind that even though Viticure is a demethylation inhibiting (DMI) fungicide it is different than other triazole DMI products. Viticure is a systemic DMI that has been proven to have more activity against powdery mildew in university trials, consistently outperforming competitors.
In addition, Viticure’s unique chemistry does not carry the same inherent resistance risk other DMI fungicides do, making it an excellent rotational partner.
