It is 26 years and counting for Stockton Ag Expo with it's three-day farm equipment show set for Jan. 22-24 on the extensive San Joaquin County Fairgrounds.

As the first major farm equipment show of the new year, Stockton Ag Expo will showcase with nearly 400 exhibitors in five huge exhibit buildings and acres of hard-surfaced exhibit areas. Additional space has been added this year in the very center of the grounds for even more outside exhibits.

Everything from computer software for farming applications to the largest harvesting equipment has been booked for the show.

Stockton Ag Expo will be saluting Farm Bureaus with a special, focal point exhibit highlighting the work of the statewide and local bureaus in forwarding the economic and environmental efforts of thousands of farming members.

Starting at 9 a.m. all three days and ending 5 p.m. the first two and 4 p.m. the final day, Stockton Ag Expo will again offer several events and activities for attendees. At 2 p.m. all three days, the Annual Forklift Rodeo will offer all comers an opportunity to show their skills with daily and overall prizes. The 3 p.m. Antique Equipment parade offers a bit of nostalgia all three days.

In addition, the “chuggers” will be demonstrating their rebuilt early-day gas engines for the 26th consecutive year. Next to them, a wide variety of antique trucks will be on display in a new exhibit area.

Stockton Ag Expo is still holding to the $5 general admission, $2 for children 6-12 (accompanied) and those under, free. All parking is free and attendees have an opportunity to win the $250 cash prize.
