The California Weed Science Society is announcing its 56th Annual Conference scheduled Jan. 12-14, 2004 at the Hyatt Regency in Sacramento.

The theme of this years conference is “Weed Management: Economic and Environmental Savings”. The conference brings together science, industry and the practitioners in weed science. The opportunities range from gaining useful new tools for your business, refreshing your knowledge, obtaining CEU hours and meeting with clients and friends.

This year the society is offering a unique turf weed management session and an ornamentals session instead of combining the two. In addition, there will be session focused on poisonous weeds as well as sessions on weed management in vegetable crops, forestry, range and wildlands, agronomic crops and trees and vines.
