Outlook 2013 conference March 21, Sacramento
This year’s Outlook 2013 conference will be held on March 21 at the Hilton Arden West Hotel in Sacramento and will include distribution of the widely acclaimed Trends in Agricultural Land and Lease Values for 2013, the annual publication providing land value information and agricultural content for California and Nevada.
The Outlook 2013 program agenda will provide conference attendees with a well rounded view of California agriculture’s successes. A general overview provided by CDFA Secretary Karen Ross and California Farm Bureau President, Paul Wenger, will lead into individual success stories told by leaders in the industry. A partial list of speakers includes: Joel Nelsen, President of California Citrus Mutual; Richard Waycott, President/CEO of the California Almond Board; Richard Matoian, Executive Director of American Pistachio Growers; Karen Halliburton Barber, Assistant Vice President and Senior Agricultural Analyst with Rabobank, N.A., and Nancy Light, Director of Communications with the Wine Institute. Conference attendees will also hear from special guest, Jean Arnold, founder of the Jean Arnold Group and President of Hanzell Vineyards, who will share her wine industry story that draws on over twenty-seven years of experience in business leadership, executive management, marketing and sales with notable California wineries.
