2008 World Ag Expo is just 4 days away

Feb 8, 2008 10:19 AM

With nearly 1,700 exhibitors and 100,000 attendees from 67 countries, all on 2.6 million square feet of showgrounds; World Ag Expo is the largest ag expo of its kind worldwide, and it’s next week!

February 12-14 Tulare, Calif. will welcome the world of agriculture to exchange innovative ideas and technology covering every area of farming and ranching. This year the show will expand with the addition of the Dairy Technology Center (DTC) and surrounding outdoor dairy exhibit space.

The 2008 Expo will also introduce attendee electronic registration. Attendees will provide general demographic and production information and receive a printed badge for Expo entrance. The registration system will also enter attendees into a drawing for a 2008 Dodge truck and will act as admission the same day to the West Coast Nationals Power Pulling Series in the evening—a $12 savings!

To get a jump-start on business and browsing, the Expo will open at 8 a.m. in 2008. From the showcased products in the New Product Center to informative seminars, Ride and Drive demonstration areas, off-site farm tours, special Expo events and new product roll-outs; World Ag Expo is a three-day event packed with information for farmers and exciting sites for the general public.

Everyone who passes through the gates will also enjoy scrumptious food and plenty of fun! Visitors can choose from more than 30 non-profit food vendors cooking up delicious tri-tip sandwiches, tasty cobblers, and much more. During lunch show goers will also catch a glimpse at the very special Budweiser Clydesdales parading through the Expo.

The 2008 World Ag Expo is here! Take the free Park & Ride from five locations in Tulare and Visalia, and join guests from east to west and around the globe as the latest in agricultural technology rocks the Central Valley!
