Citrus Roundtable scheduled for Sept. 27 at LREC in Exeter, Calif.

Controlling pests in citrus is the purpose of a Citrus Roundtable event on Sept. 27 at the Lindcove Research and Extension Center (LREC), Exeter, Calif.
The program includes:
10:00 - Citrus pest control year in review - discussion of the highlights in pest control in 2007;
11:00 - Old challenges/possible new solutions - pesticide resistance, proper spray application, new pesticides;
Noon – Lunch; and
12:30 - New challenges - Peelminer, leafminer, and other exotic pests.
Presenters will include Sylvie Robillard, Dr. Beth Grafton-Cardwell, and Andrea Gjerde. The Association of Applied IPM Ecologists is the program sponsor.
The cost is $25 including lunch. The seminar will conclude at 2:30 p.m.
