WPHA regulatory conference July 17-18

Western Plant Health Assn (WPHA) has developed a full program of important agricultural regulatory topics ranging from groundwater regulations to VOCs to pyrethroid re-evaluaton for this summer’s regulatory conference July 17-18 at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Sacramento.

It is entitled California Pesticide Regulations – What You Need to Know. Key officials from the California Department of Pesticide Regulation (DPR), California Air Resources Board (ARB), California Dept. of Food and Agriculture (CDFA), Office of Environment Human Health Assessment (OEHHA), the Central Valley Water Quality Control Board (CVWQCB) and the crop protection industry.

Speakers plan to discuss a wide range of regulatory issues impacting California agriculture and the crop protection industry There will be also 2-hr hosted reception following the first day’s session with government officials. Confirmed keynote speakers Mary-Ann Warmerdam, Director of DPR, and George Gomes, Undersecretary of CDFA.
