California field prices

Prices for dry edible beans and all potatoes were below the previous month’s level, while all types of hay remained unchanged. Mid-month prices for wheat and Upland cotton lint were not published to avoid possible disclosure of individual operations. There were insufficient sales to establish a mid-month price for oats and barley. Prices were above a year earlier for dry edible beans, all hay and alfalfa hay. All potatoes, fall potatoes and hay other than alfalfa were below April 2006.
