Weather ideal for California carrots

Weather conditions are expected to be ideal the growing this year’s California carrot crop. Although the state received sporadic rainfall, growers are expected to be able to get into their fields. Nationally, intended acreage for harvest is forecast at 17,400 acres, down 6 percent from last year.
