Shafter Station field day Sept. 14

  • USDA/ARS will host a field day Sept. 14 at the Shafter Cotton Research Station in Shafter, Calif.

USDA/ARS will host a field day Sept. 14 at the Shafter Cotton Research Station in Shafter, Calif.

The field day will begin with registration at 8:30 a.m. followed by research presentations from 9 until noon.
Presentations will include results of insecticide screening trials, drip irrigation, cotton breeding, and results of studies on Race 4 Fusarium and Lygus biology and ecology. Lunch will be provided.
The station is approximately 2 miles north of Shafter on Shafter Ave.
