Miss America defends US agriculture

Saying she was declaring her candidacy for the presidency in 2028, former Miss America Teresa Scanlon took the National Sorghum Producers annual meeting by storm. (She may have been kidding about a run for the presidency – or not.) Miss Scanlan, who hails from a small town in western Nebraska, has become known for her defense of American agriculture during the Miss America pageant and at numerous appearances since then. She delivered the keynote address for the NSP meeting, which was held during Commodity Classic in Nashville, Tenn.
