Irrigation workshop Aug. 4, Modesto

The East Stanislaus Resource Conservation District, University of California Cooperative Extension in Stanislaus County, and the USDA-NRCS Modesto Service Center will host a drip and micro-sprinkler irrigation workshop Aug. 4, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., at the Stanislaus County Ag Center in Modesto, Calif.

The training is directed toward orchard and row crop producers in the Northern San Joaquin Valley (Merced, Stanislaus and San Joaquin counties). It will focus on assisting producers to improve irrigation efficiency, and provide information on the technical and financial resources available to assist them.
