Fresno County EGVM hotline

The Fresno County Department of Agriculture and Information Technology Services Department have activated a voice mail messaging system to keep growers informed on the latest information on the European Grapevine Moth.

The information number originally distributed to growers in the quarantine area, (559) 456-7659, will remain active through May 22.

The number (559) 600-EGVM will replace the original number and is currently active. Updates on compliance agreement status, quarantine boundaries, regulatory requirements for commodity inspection, and movement will be provided.

Growers can call the phone line anytime. If the grower has additional questions, they can leave a contact phone number and a time convenient for a return call.

As compliance agreement information becomes available, the agreements will be posted to the Department of Agriculture’s Web site. The voice mail message also will be updated.
