Where: Buckeye, Ariz. – Cotton field located just south of Interstate 10 at Miller Road exit in Buckeye, Ariz., and at the Buckeye Elks Lodge, 109 North 5th St., Buckeye

Agenda:

8:30 a.m. – Welcome and introductions (field location) – Erin Taylor, University of Arizona (UA) assistant area agent

8:40 – Insect scouting (field location) – Peter Ellsworth, UA integrated pest management specialist

10:00 – Prescription applications of Telone for corn and cotton (Buckeye Elks) – Erin Taylor

11:30 – Whitefly scouting – preview of the whitefly tracker Web site (Buckeye Elks) – Erin Taylor and Kelly Young, UA research specialist

Noon – Lunch – Elks Lodge
