Alias 4F insecticide is now labeled in California as an all-in-one imidacloprid for soil and foliar applications to control major soil and foliar sucking insects in a broad selection of high-value crops.

Alias works through systemic activity to provide long-lasting, broad-spectrum control of many tough insects, including aphids, whiteflies, leafhoppers, mealybugs and sharpshooters.

“Imidacloprid is one of the most widely used insecticides in California, and MANA's new California registration for Alias 4F provides growers with the first complete label for soil and foliar applications all in one product,” said John Guion, MANA's senior marketing manager for insecticides.

“Alias 4F can also be applied as a post-seeding drench, transplant-water drench or hill drench. The advantage of this new label is that it now affords our California customers the value of stocking and selling an imidacloprid product that provides the proven performance of MANA's Alias 2F and Pasada 1.6F imidacloprid formulations.”

Alias 4F is registered in California on cole crops, leafy vegetables, cucurbits, strawberries, tree nuts, citrus, grapes, stone fruit, cotton and all other crops labeled for imidacloprid. It is not a restricted use pesticide.
