John Deere offers several innovations for 01

John Deere has introduced several innovative products for the 2001 season.

First up is the John Deere 4710 self-propelled sprayer which features an innovative four-wheel independent-strut suspension system, increased power and transport speeds, larger solution tanks, and increased under-frame clearance.

The 4710 has a 95-gallon fuel tank with an 800-gallon solution tank.

The new four-range hydrostatic transmission features working speeds up to 20.2 mph and transport speeds up to 29.6 mph.

Deere has also introduced the 2700 Mulch Ripper which performs three functions in one pass. This tool is available in 14-foot, 17-foot, or 18-foot widths.

Another late-summer 2000 introduction by Deere is the 2400 Chisel Plow, available in widths from 10 feet to 64 feet.

The floating hitch design provides consistent and accurate depth control, supported by front castering wheels and rear-wheel packages for both depth and transport positions.

The 2400 Chisel Plow combines new technology to offer AccuDepth, Floating Hitch, and TruPosition Standards in one piece of equipment. AccuDepth controls the primary and intermediate depths and side-to-side leveling from the operator's seat.
