IUPAC International Congress of Pesticide Chemistry, Aug. 10-14, San Francisco
The 13th International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry’s (IUPAC) International Congress of Pesticide Chemistry will be held Aug. 10-14 in San Francisco, Calif.
The IUPAC Congress will be held in conjunction with an American Chemical Society (ACS) national meeting.
About 1,000-1,500 delegates are expected to attend the Pesticide Congress; in addition to 12,000-13,000 chemists who will be involved in technical programming organized by other ACS divisions.
The Pesticide Congress will be held at the Marriott Marquis Hotel while registrants for the Congress will also be able to attend any ACS event as well as the ACS exhibition at the Moscone Convention Center.
The theme of the 13th Congress will be “Crop, Environment and Public Health Protection: Technologies for a Changing World.” The technical program will be organized around nine main scientific topics and more than 40 scientific symposia.
The submission of abstracts for presented papers and posters are due March 10.
Congress registration will open in late April.
