Jim Stollberg is the vineyard manager at Presqu’ile Winery in Santa Maria, Calif. The vineyard includes 72-acres of premium wine grapes, including the Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Syrah, Nebbiolo varieties.
Jim Stollberg studied biomedical engineering while a student at the University of California, Davis. After several summer jobs in wine grapes during his college years, Stollberg changed career paths and earned a B.A. degree in crop science and management with a viticulture emphasis.
