The Napa County Agricultural Commissioner's office will conduct mandatory meetings to issue compliance agreements to all growers, harvesters, and haulers or receivers (wineries) of wine grapes in the European grapevine moth (EGVM) quarantine area.

The Napa County quarantine area includes all grape-growing regions.

The Ag Commissioner’s office will review the EGVM quarantine restrictions in the compliance agreement during the meetings and then issue the agreement to attendees.

The compliance agreement is required to harvest, move, and receive wine grapes, according to Commissioner David Whitmer.

All meetings will be held at the University of California Cooperative Extension office, 1710 Soscol Avenue, Napa, Calif.

The meeting dates and times include:

• July 22 - 6:00 p.m.

• July 27 - 9:00 a.m.

• July 29 - 4:00 p.m.

• Aug. 3 - 1:00 p.m.

Attendees are required to call the Commissioner’s Office at (707) 253-4357 to register for a meeting.

Those unable to attend are required to contact the Commissioner’s Office to make other arrangements.
