A single male European grapevine moth (EGVM - Lobesia botrana) has been detected in a vineyard trap in Cazadero in western Sonoma County, Calif. Agricultural officials immediately deployed delimitation traps at the rate of 100 traps per square mile. A visual survey was conducted for EGVM eggs and larvae. None were found.
