The California Table Grape Workers Scholarship program was created in 1985. The program has since awarded nearly 100 scholarships to field workers from the table grape growing regions of California.
“The table grape growers in California volunteer their time and service for associations, boards and charitable organizations,” said Kathleen Nave, president of the commission. “The scholarship program is another way they show their support for the communities where they live and work.”
