U.S. rice soon on Chinese grocery shelves?

As part of the process to finally bring U.S. rice to China, a Chinese delegation recently visited key components of the U.S. rice industry. While in north-central Arkansas, the delegation visited the Alicia-area Smith Farms. Immediately following the visit, David Smith spoke to Farm Press about the questions the delegation asked and speculated on the impact the Chinese market could have on American rice.
