Gilligan leads ag consultants group

Paige Gilligan, CAC, a vice president with Rabobank, NA, based in Fresno, Calif., has been elected president of the American Society of Agricultural Consultants at the organization’s annual meeting.

Gilligan holds a bachelor's degree in agricultural business management from Purdue University and an master's from the University of Phoenix. She received her Certified Agricultural Consultant designation in 2007.

She currently manages the agricultural field and collateral inspection department at Rabobank and is responsible for all of Rabobank NA’s collateral verification services for both agricultural and commercial clients.

Other newly elected officers for ASAC are: President-Elect Peggy Raisanen, Hurley & Associates, Annandale, Minn.; Vice President/Secretary Gary Wagner, CAC, Great Earth Agri-Business, Inc., Madison, Wis.; Chief Financial Officer Russell Morgan, CAC, Morgan & Associates Consulting, Paducah, Ky.; and, Immediate Past President, Bill Zweigbaum, CAC, First Pioneer Farm Credit, Plattsburgh, N.Y.

Elected to the organization’s Board of Directors were: Northern Region, Kurt Ehnle, CAC, Edelstein, Ill.; Southern Region, Robert Mehrle, Ph. D., CAC, Agricultural Information Management, Lambert, Miss.; Western Region, Jerry Freeze, CAC, Legacy Farm Business Consulting, Inc., Wamego, Kan.; and, Eastern Region, Robert E. Lee, CAC, Lee Agribusiness Connections, Harrison, Maine.
