CSP application deadline arrives, Jan. 7

  • Today, Jan. 7, is the ranking period cut-off date for producer applications for the Conservation Stewardship Program (CSP). The Natural Resources Conservation Service, the agency that administers the program, announced an extension of the CSP cut-off date last October.

Today, Jan. 7, is the ranking period cut-off date for producer applications for the Conservation Stewardship Program (CSP).  The Natural Resources Conservation Service, the agency that administers the program, announced an extension of the CSP cut-off date last October.

The program provides many conservation benefits, including improvement of water and soil quality and wildlife habitat enhancement. Eligible lands include cropland, pastureland, rangeland and nonindustrial forestland.
