The Westlands Water District is accepting candidacies through May 29 for four board positions.

Balloting begins on Aug. 25. Any person 18 or over and either owning land, the legal representative of a landowner, or a representative designated by a district landowner is eligible to run for a board position.

Board terms are four years.
