Financial garden fertilizer coming for six schools

This fall, six California schools will have a some financial fertilizer to help keep their garden programs growing.

California Fertilizer Foundation has selected Chicago Park School in Grass Valley, Commodore Sloat Elementary School in San Francisco, Los Cerritos Elementary in Long Beach, Mary Fay Pendleton School in Oceanside, Nord School in Chico and Twin Lakes Elementary in El Monte to receive $1,000 grants. Presentation ceremonies are being scheduled for Los Cerritos, Twin Lakes and Nord School for the coming weeks.
