With the Senate Agriculture Committee holding hearings and mark-up on financial reform legislation, new trading instruments such as derivatives are getting closer scrutiny. In this interview with Farm Press editor Forrest Laws, John J. Ryan, head of Rabo Finance, says not all derivatives should be seen in a negative light. Ryan was interviewed at this year’s Commodity Classic.
