CRB to discuss HLB, July 15, Riverside
The Citrus Research Board (CRB) and the UC Cooperative Extension are hosting two grower seminars in July covering topics including export challenges due to plant disease, strategies for dealing with water shortages, labor issues facing the California citrus industry, and "Food Fights in the Marketplace: Is There a Path Forward for the Citrus Industry to Address HLB Disease?"
One event will take place in Riverside, Calif. on July 15 from 8:30 a.m. to noon at the California Citrus State Historic Park, 9400 Dufferin Ave., Riverside, Calif., 92504.
The second meeting takes place July 17 from 8:30 a.m. to noon at the Exeter Veterans Memorial Building, 324 N. Kaweah Ave., Exeter, Calif., 93221.
Doors for both events open at 7:45 a.m. for registration, coffee and a welcome reception. Both meetings are approved for 2.0 hours of continuing education credits.
No registration fee is required, but RSVP's are appreciated.
