CPHA to WPHA: Name change reflects broad scope

California Plant Health Association says the association's membership approved a name change to Western Plant Health Association (WPHA).

WPHA represents the regulatory, legislative and communications interests of fertilizer and crop protection manufacturers, distributors, formulators and retailers in California, Arizona and Hawaii. The Western Plant Health Association name more accurately reflects the tri-state scope of the association.

Accompanying the new Western Plant Health Association name is a new Web site address www.healthyplants.org WPHA members market commercial fertilizers, soil amendments, agricultural minerals and crop protection products. More than 90 percent of all fertilizer and crop protection companies are represented by WPHA.
