Calcot director receives CCA award

More About:

Calcot director of communications Mark Bagby was honored this summer by the Cooperative Communicators Association (CCA) as its 51st H.E. Klinefelter Award winner.

The award is given in commemoration of a founder of CCA and a long-time editor of The Missouri Farmer, which today is a publication of the Missouri-based cooperative, MFA Incorporated.

According to CCA, the award recognizes career achievement and "dedication to improving the standards of cooperative communication" and is considered CCA's top award, presented annually to an individual for "overall dedication to cooperative communication, new ideas, inspiring others, professionalism, and CCA involvement."

Bagby has been a CCA member since 1993, served two three-year terms on its board of directors and was its president in 2002-2003.
