Steven Bales is new president of Arizona Cotton Growers Association

Steven Bales, a cotton and hay grower in Buckeye, Ariz., is the new president of the Arizona Cotton Growers Association (ACGA). Bales and the new ACGA board will serve two-year terms.

Bales also serves on the Arizona Farm Bureau board of directors.

“Arizona Cotton Growers has a long tradition of being a forward-thinking organization, so it’s an honor to serve as their president,” Bales said. “I look forward to working together to draw the map that will guide our organization forward and build on its successful past.”

Bales and the other newly elected ACGA board members were seated in their new positions during the organization’s board of directors’ meeting in March.

The new ACGA officers, all from Arizona, include: vice-presidents Kevin Rogers, Mesa, Dan Thelander, Maricopa, Greg Wuertz, Casa Grande, K.C. Gingg, Buckeye; Paul Ollerton, Casa Grande, secretary/treasurer; and Tom Isom, Casa Grande, chairman of the board.
