Dan Thelander is the 2010-2011 president of the Arizona Cotton Growers Association.

Thelander, a second-generation cotton farmer from Tempe, was elected by the association’s board of directors.

Serving as board chairman is Steven Bales, Buckeye, the immediate past president. The vice-presidents include: Kevin Rogers, Mesa; Greg Wuertz, Coolidge; K.C. Gingg, Buckeye; and Paco Ollerton, Casa Grande.

Dennis Palmer of Thatcher is the secretary-treasurer.

At the Arizona Cotton Ginners Association annual meeting held in April, Greg Sugaski, Anderson Clayton Yellow Gin, Stanfield, was selected as the organization’s 2010-2011 president. The vice-president is Kim Vail, Chandler Gin, Coolidge.

The secretary is Butch Gladden, Pinal Gin, Stanfield. Russ Kuhnhenn, Paloma Gin Properties, Buckeye, is the treasurer.

All members are from Arizona.
