The myth that there are no pesticides on organic foods is just that. Many organically grown crops are treated more often, and with higher doses of pesticides that are approved for organic use. About 11% of all registered pesticides are labeled for certified organic crops. Those in the industry love organic growers since they use more, and more expensive fertilizer and chemical inputs than conventional growers. Elizabeth is right about one thing, if you believe organic foods are not GMOs and grown without pesticides you really are stupid or at least ignorant.
