CAPCA Training Seminars, Aug. 15-Nov. 19
The California Association of Pest Control Advisers will hold a series of professional training seminars this summer and fall from Aug. 15-Nov. 19.
Topics for the training seminars will address pest control practices, integrated pest management, pest management plans, horticulture, landscape, turf and ornamentals, application methods, water quality issues and mitigation practices, plus nutrient management, sustainable-organic practices, and more.
The purpose of CAPCA educationalseminars is to provide higher education for pest management professionals. The training offers up-to-date information on laws, regulations, and pest management practices to advisers and applicators in the industry.
The seminars are open to all pest control license holders (PCAs, QALs, QACs), private applicators, other license holders,

Aug. 20 - sustainable/organic production – Exeter
Aug. 21 - nutrient management – Salinas
Sept. 11 - nutrient management (CCA credit only) – Coalinga
Sept. 18 - nutrient management (CCA credit only) - San Jose
Sept. 25 - turf and ornamental - Santa Ana
Sept. 26 - Euwallacea beetle, fusarium dieback connection - Huntington
Oct. 20-22 – CAPCA Conference and Agri-Expo – Reno, NV
Nov. 13 – Tulare-Kings Chapter Fall CE – Tulare
Nov. 14 – Central Coast Chapter Fall CE – Santa Maria
Nov. 19 – nutrient management (CCA credit only) - Woodland
