Arizona hearing

Arizona Farm Bureau President Kevin Rogers is extremely pleased that the U.S. House Resources Committee will hold a hearing on the Endangered Species Act (ESA) in Safford, Ariz., on Sept. 20 from 9 a.m. to noon at Eastern Arizona College in Thatcher.

Congressman Rick Renzi, R-Arizona, arranged the forum.

“This is big news for Arizona Farm Bureau because opportunities for regulatory relief on endangered species is a high priority for our members,” said Arizona Farm Bureau president Kevin Rogers of Mesa.

“In fact, ESA is one of Farm Bureau's top 10 government relations priorities for 2004,” Rogers noted.
