AgSafe Shooting Extravaganza Nov. 2, Bakersfield

AgSafe Shooting Extravaganza Nov. 2, Bakersfield: Charity Trap Shoot, Practical Shooting Match and Professional Shooting Exhibition; 5 Dogs Range, Bakersfield, Calif.

Includes light breakfast refreshments, lunch, three drink tickets, and shooter’s bag.

All shooters must bring eye and ear protection and abide by the 5 Dogs Range Rules.

Trap Shoot

Shooters will be presented with a total of 100 targets at several stations. Scoring will be determined by 5 Dogs Range experts.

Shooters must provide their own shot gun and shells. Be sure to bring at least 100 rounds of #7 - #8 plus extra for the trap shoot warm up. Shooters will be placed in squads with others and should note their preference of squad mates.

Practical Shooting Match

Shooters will shoot five different stages set up with obstacle courses of paper and steel targets. The scoring system will be Time Plus Scoring. Shooters must bring their own revolver or automatic handgun and at least 150 rounds of ammunition, with a minimum caliber of 9 mm. Shooters are encouraged to bring holsters and/or magazine pouches as each stage will require a minimum of 15-25 rounds. If shooters don’t have these items, accommodations will be made. Professional shooters and 5 Dogs Action Shooters Range Officers will be available to provide assistance and instruction during the match. Shooters will be placed in squads with others and should note their preference of squad mates.
