Agribusiness forum is Nov. 9 in Maricopa, Ariz.

The 2007 Agricultural and Resource Economics Forum on Labor, Energy, and Agriculture is scheduled for Nov. 15 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Harrah’s Ak-Chin Casino Resort near Maricopa, Ariz.

The program will include keynote speakers, panel discussions, and student presentations that address labor, energy, and farm bill policies important to Arizona's agriculture.

A tour of the Pinal Energy facility near Maricopa that began ethanol production in July 2007 is available in the afternoon.

Forum registration costs are $85 if made by Nov. 1 and $110 after Nov. 1. Lunch is included in the registration cost.
