This seminar in Spanish will educate farm employees about the importance of farm safety and healthy habits as well as remind them of the latest workplace safety regulations.
The seminar includes a strong component on pesticide use safety and regulations, and new curriculum on night work safety guidelines and private applicator certificate testing preparation.
Topics covered include: pesticide use safety and regulations, field safety, night work safety, rules and regulation, sanitation, heat illness, water quality issues, tractor safety, driving safety and healthy habits. Additionally, new curriculum will review the private applicator obligations and cover PAC testing preparation.
A reference manual for private applicators will be given to each employer.
Attendees will receive a certificate of participation for their records.
